Ludo Royale — Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
Ludo Royale: Battle of Kings ("the game") is a casual board game published
by Factory ("we"). This policy explains what data the game handles and why.
The short version: we collect what is needed to run online matches, keep your
coins and progress, show ads and sell in-game purchases; we never sell your
data, and there are no cash prizes of any kind.
Data we collect
- Display name and avatar choice — the name you type on your
profile is shown to other players in online rooms, match results, friends
lists and leaderboards. It is never verified and can be anything you like.
- Player ID — the game signs you in anonymously (a random
identifier issued per install) so online rooms can tell players apart.
- Optional sign-in with Google or Apple — if you choose to sign in,
we store the identifier and email address that Google or Apple provides, in
our authentication service (Firebase Authentication) and on your player
profile. It is used only to restore your progress on a new device and to
match account requests such as deletion; it is never shown to other players
and never used for marketing.
No password is stored by us.
- Gameplay data — online matches store the moves of the match
(dice rolls, piece moves, cards played, results) on our game server so all
players see the same board and games can resume after a disconnect.
- Progress and wallet — your Royal Coins balance, XP, level,
streak, daily-reward history, achievements and unlocked avatars.
- Social data — your friends list, friend requests, room invites
and block list.
- Purchases — when you buy coins or subscribe to the Royal Club,
Google Play or the App Store processes the payment. We receive a purchase
token or receipt and the product bought so we can grant it and verify it;
we never see your card or bank details.
- Analytics and crash reports — we use Firebase Analytics and
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the game is used and to fix
crashes. This includes app events (for example, "match started"), device
model, operating system version, country, app version and a Firebase app
instance identifier. This data is not used for advertising.
Advertising
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: a "rewarded" ad you may choose
to watch for an in-game benefit, and occasional interstitial ads between
matches. Royal Club members see no interstitials. To serve these ads, Google's
advertising SDK may collect and use an advertising identifier and
related device information. Google acts as an independent data controller
for this; its use of data is governed by the
Google
Privacy & Terms. You can reset or limit the advertising identifier in
your device settings. We do not use the advertising ID ourselves.
What we do NOT do
- We do not collect phone numbers, contacts, precise location, photos or
files.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone other than
the service providers named here (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play
and Apple), each of which processes it to provide its service.
- There are no cash prizes: Royal Coins are for play only and can never be
withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money.
Where data lives and for how long
Game data is stored with Google Firebase (servers in the Singapore region)
and is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Local games against the computer or
pass-n-play never leave your device. Online match logs are purged 30 days
after the match ends; abandoned rooms are purged after 24 hours. Your
profile, wallet and social data are kept until you delete your account.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and the data tied to it from within the game
(open your Profile and tap the bin icon beside the sign-in row) or by following the steps on our
account deletion page. That page also lists
exactly what is removed and what is retained.
Children
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at
children under 13. It requests no personal information beyond an optional
display name and an optional Google or Apple sign-in.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated and material changes
are announced in the game.
